🥚 Egg Scramble
Four zones, two sides, twenty eggs and no clock.
2–8 playersJoystick and buttonFreeNo app
How it plays
- Push the stick to run. Walking over a loose egg picks it up, and a wall stands in front of every zone, so an egg has to be walked round one of its ends. The button drops the egg inside your own zone and lobs it anywhere else.
- An egg left in a zone stays there and pays its side every second, so holding eggs is the whole game. There is no clock and the twenty eggs are never replaced: the first side to the target wins, and late on the only eggs left are the ones in somebody else's zone.
Rules
- How it runs. Push the stick to run. Walking over a loose egg picks it up; you can only carry one at a time.
- Scoring. Your side owns two of the four zones, and a wall stands in front of each one. Walk the egg round the end of the wall and tap to put it down inside.
- Winning. Eggs left in a zone never disappear: they pay their side every second, and golden ones pay three times as fast. Empty-handed you can walk into an enemy zone and take one straight back out, and the first side to the target wins.
